saxo with XSARA vts engine?

    been done?
    worth it?

167bhp in a can of beans would be great fun!

much more torque etc than a 1.6 vts too id imagine?

If you want straight line speed then stick a bigger engine in and foot the bill for the fabricated parts. Probably better looking at a lighter car than a saxo though and a bigger engine than the xsaras.

If your after speed & handeling then tune your vts.

Oh im not after the engine, just wondering if it's been done,

I had same option with my corsa

    106bhp

or shove an c20xe in 150+bhp straight away

But I tuned my corsa to 140ish bhp instead

Id imagine a cam'd xsara engine with breathing mods would run lew than 14 down the strip in a stripped saxo though?

They don't perform that well mate, i don't think i have seen one got 14's!! But there not that common

this ideas been discussed to death already so the search will bring up a lot of info and opinions.
205 mi16 will get 14.3 quarter mile so i'd expect the xsara to be around 14.9 standard. It takes a lot of power to break the 13's so i'd estimate low 14's for a cammed xsara pushing roughly 180-190bhp

I'm going to brake the 13's this weekend, i can feel it
