Thanx for using my Big induction thread

Ok basically on such a small cc engined car its not worth spending a fortune on aftermarket airfilters as the return in terms of performance gains will be small, but that doesnt mean you shouldnt do it.

None of the airfilters in the thread above will transform your car or any to that matter into a monster.

Best to have alook on places like eBay for slightly cheaper maybe unbranded induction kits as its not worth spendin between £50-£70 for something which is just gona make the car sound more throaty under accelration.

Look to Open cone filters like the one below as these increase the surface area of the airfilter there by making the car seem more free reving, again as its only a small cc engine performance isnt an issue but just make sure that any Open filter has a good supply of Cold air via a Cold Air Feed or simple tubing to supply cool air to the filter.

Open filters come in Cotton, Foam and Stainless Steel, all should give a nice induction roar and look good under the bonnet.
