after market cam belt

   hi all im gettin my cam belt changed this week but dont no weather to go for a after market cam belt kit or one from citroen the after market kit is £30 cheaper just ive been told by someone that there is no differance is this true cheers graham

   get a gates 1
   
   thast what citroen use and would supply you
   
   i got my kit for £30 and had the gates belt in it but wasnt a gates box as it was the make of the pully on the box

   £30 for the kit?? Thats cheap. I paid abit more than that for my piper cams belt on its own!!

   only need uprated it using lairy cams really

   Ive tried Dayco, Gates, Reinz and a few other belts. Never had any of them fail, and none of the engines ive built have an easy life LOL
