Ive just ordered one, I currently have a green cotton open, how good are these on vts's? i had one on my corsa and it felt a smoother power delivery

i know its not a VTS,
but when dyno'd on a 205 GTi 1.6, it actually lost -1 bhp.

AH GREAT LOL not a good start, we'll see what its like. I cant see how it'd be any worse than an airbox though?

The thing is with the totally enclosed systems like the BMC, Pipercross Viper and K&N Apllo is that on a rolling road there is no forced air entering the induction system as the car isnt moving, fans help but not to the extent of forward motion - I reckon this has alot to do with the dyno figures as becuase its totally enclosed there is no other air to induct.

Also I strongly believe alot of people dont find the best place to setup their direct cold air feed again leading to poor results.

It may not look nice but the best place for the cold air feed on such a filter is as close to atmosphere as possible with somepeople choocing to install the pipe to the front bumper with the entery hole on show.

Like I have stated many times before, All induction kits no matter how much you pay for them are only as good as the supply of cold air.

Install the kit, setup as good and most direct acess to cool atmosphere then tell people what you think of the kit.

Got my viper fitted today! Its great over standard quite a lot of on increase over standard, even power delivery, smoothes over the high end revvs, giving more power. Defo worth the money for £70!! Well done
