#2sell it and buy a vts rather than a conversion?
if you can afford the insurance that is.... -
#3will cost about £400-£1000 depending on how much work you do yourself mate, if you still think its worth it after that, then go for it, i promise you, you won't be dissapointed!
-
#4yeah think i mite get it done. by the way...how much is ur car lowered by and do u have any problems with ur driveshafts?
-
#5lowered 35mm at the front and yes, i've not long replaced both driveshafts mate!
-
#6i would rcommend it peronally after the price of the engine and ancillaries the fitting round my way is only around 3-400 pounds wouldnt reccomend doing it yourself tried this on my peugeot 106 and lets just say R.I.P
-
#7i would defo get a vts but i reckon buying a vts car will be easier. depends how handy your are with spanners tho. also SOME vts are slightly cheaper than vtrs due to their insurance group so it could work out good
-
#8tried to convert my vtr to a vts,,,its huge hassle to be honest but what stopped my result was the stupid mechanics in ireland who were unable to unlock the ECU.. whhick resulted in FAILURE!!IM HAPPY WITH THE 1.4 AT THE MIN...
i say buy a vts if you can get the rite one at the rite price!
