Its a suede material glued to the dash so the light doesn't reflect onto the windscreen..

think my 106 dash was about 15kg, but that was with all the heater vents on it and everything else mines not got lol think its about 5kg now.

take it your going to take all the heater matrix out aswel as that weighs a fair bit.

are you going to fastfest on saturday then, i should be there but dont think ill be going down the strip dont really trust my driveshafts lol

it didnt take long, cant post pics as then people will know what shell i am using.

Mine needed to come out anyway as the heater matrix was fucked. and so we ripped it out knowing it wasnt going back lol!

wires are cable tied to bulkhead, instrumnts tied to steering colum
  24. #24
Any chance of you emailing me pics?? Pm me!!

Can anyone get some pics up!? My dash is fucked anyways, so can i cut it out?? How much is a new one!?
  25. #25
right basically if you have a haynes manual its in there.

there are large bolts that go through the bulkhead into the scuttle area irc.. you need to remove all them etc..

also the wiring may be attached to the dash as on some cars it is.
  26. #26
Hmm, i have the max power saxo haynes manual at home somewhere?
  27. #27
    no a proper haynes!

not the max flower guide to neon dials one
