s2 pug rallye engine

  1. #1
ok so i might have the opportunity to get my hands on a peugeot s2 rallye engine. its very similar to the 1.6 8v engine in the vtr, but i know this one has made 111bhp on the rollers for a fact.

to fit this to a 00 furio, could i use the existing loom and ecu or would i need a whole new loom and ecu?

    hope yas can help me

im almost certain you would need a different ecu and wiring loom mate, but don't quote me on it!

why wouldn't it be worth it?

i think it would deffo be worth it, especially if your getting the engine at a good price!

ye but i dont think it would be worth it if i needed a new loom

if that was the case i would just put a 01+ vtr engine in it

are you sure i would need a new loom?

If you look at the KMS ECU I believe there is an adaptor to mate these straight into Citroen looms.

Just swatting up on them as we should be stocking them soon.

thats what i like to hear KamRacing!!

How much are they or will they be going for, and how soon might you have them??
  19. #19
it will be more than your engine mate, why cant you get the ecu and loom aswell?

i can but it might be a lot of work taking the dash out just to fit a new loom

if that was the case i would probably just go with a vtr/vts engine, depending on how much insurance would be
