Mk1 front end on a mk2

   Right people cats going to be getting a fair bit of work done on it so needs a new bonnet mk2 being quite dear so ive been think i much pref the way mk1 look with morretes so is it basicly the same as putting a mk2 on a mk1 new slam panel bonnet and wings plus morretes and morret grille

   all that work because a bonnets expensive?
   
   Doesnt sound like a cost effective solution

   Yeah but gives me more of a reason to do it plus whole cars getting a respray any way plus i like mk 1 morretes alot

   Go for it mate if thats what u want to do i am doing a mk2 conversion because i like the mk2 angle eyes lol oh and i want the car to look a bit newer.

   If a buyer notices that they wont buy it..For all they know the front end coulda been completly smashed in during and accident..

   pm axo16v on ssc and see if he can get you a cheap bonnet

   Im not really intersted in the sale price tbh car is a cat c and wont make much differance

    i just got a bonnet off of ebay for £20.
    
    thats gotta be tonnes cheaper than respraying and making a newer car look like an old mk1

    nah i likE the way mk1 look mk2 front end looks a bit well girly ill do it and if i like it then ill keep it and if not then ill change back respray is getting done in my garage so isnt costing me all that much just the materails and my time is free.

    John i want ur mk2 wings and slam panel first dibs mate so i can do my mk1 to mk2 conversion.
