Gearbox oil

   I am having a vts box put in soon. Which is the best oil for it

   Doesn't matter so much IMO. But with my previous gearbox, I used some rather posh Silkolene SYN5 75/90 Fully Synthetic oil and I can honestly say it made the gear changes a tiny bit sweeter.

   A little bit off topic, but how often are you meant to change the gearbox oil?

   Again, it's not nearly as critical as engine oil. On a normal road car, once every 30k would be fine.
