which head light is wrong

i have w reg mk2 vtr noticed today one healight has a clear indictaor where the other has a coloured indicator which one in the original ?

ive noticed that on a few cars too mate, me mates car was like that, may be because of a bulb blowing onto the lens am not sure though what causes it

Mines an 03 reg, my sisters is an 02 reg and we both have clear ones.

So I think it must be early mk2's have orange and later ones have clear

Mines a V 99" with orange ones, Im guessing they might of changed to clear when the 2001 models came out or something.

It can crack and flake off after time anyway, i noticed my old indicator started to flake.

They crack so easy, blacked out my front lights today and managed to crack one slightly, does anyone know if they sell the clear ones on there own as a part?

the earlier models came with the orange bits in the lamps.

mines a 2001 y reg vts and had the orange bits before i changed them

My girfriends 2002 52 plate vts has the clear one so guessing its just the early ones.

so neither of them are wrong mate just depends what reg your car is

just looked and yours is w reg so your proberly ment to have the orange bits. if it was me though would get a clear bit to match the other side as the orange is gash imo
