raceland induction kits for furios!

   ive recently had a bit more work and have earned a little spare cash so was thinking of buying one of these raceland induction kits thats everyone on here seems to rate highly. i have a mrk2 2000 w reg furio, i think i have to move my pas pump over a little wich looks easy enough to do! is it a matter of removing the airbox and fitting the induction and then attaching the oil breather pipe to the induction pipe! id like to have a bit of advice before i buy it realy, anything i should be aware of?

   it won't sit flush to the slam panel! but you can always eliminate that, by buying a new piece of hosing which is longer and not a heat conducting metal!

   mmmm thats put me off! what would be good then? its got to be enclosed and easy to fit!

   how about a BMC CDA? those looks nice and are highly rated as well

   yer i like them and they seem easier to fit but u have to get a breather filter for the oil breather hose dont you and ive heard they can squirt/leak oil!

   you could connect that hose to an oil catch tank. Looks mint and stops oil vapour ruining the engine bay

   Iv got a simota on mine mate, was easy enough to fit, just made my own brackets out of some off cuts of stainless steel. pics:

   nah that looks too tricky for me, im new to all this! i just want an induction kit that is easy to fit and wont cause me any problems that sounds nice!

    Try a BMC.. we fitted one of those here to one of our staffs Polo Gti's and it gives an infectious growl on acceleration.
    
    Oil breather pipes are on racing engines at least plumbed into a cylinder where the oil vapours condense.. rather that all over your engine bay. This cylinder is mounted somewhere convenient and vents to atmosphere. Oil collects in the bottom and needs to be emptied periodically
