Which gearbox oil!?

    Im just wondering if any1 could tell me which gearbox oil i need to put into my car? as im in the process of changing the engine (Bloody rain!) I've been told its either ep80? or ep90? can you help?

    A standard fault with the Saxo/106 gearbox is rainwater ingress due to very moderate fording. This gets in through the rather inadequately protected breather on top of the box. A minute and undetectable amount of water ruins the gearchange.

    Change the oil, clean the magnets on the level and drain plugs, anneal or replace the copper washers, and fill with the correct oil. This is a semi-synth 75W/90 to API GL-5 duty specification. Don't get this wrong! Cheapest place for gear oil is GSF

    you're right it is 2 litres, i was thinking 4 of the 500ml bottles
