behind the grill now as you can see

It feels alot more responsive in comparisson with my green open filter,
the noise is much more minimal from the engine, but the power delivery is smoother!

if you can get a viper cheap...

get one (mine was £70 on ebay

Not too clued up on saxo engines..but

isnt the "cold air feed" running over the manifold? Meaning it will be being warmed up by it?

Id get an enclosed filter myself but i love the roar of an open cone.....

the pipe is heat wrapped and the air would be travelling in way way too fast for it too be affected

I got one up for sale on ebay...prefer the panel filter. Viper is too noisy on full throttle for me.

get some morrettes and get the feed through the light

the only thing I would adjust is to get the hose a bit more direct into the enclosed. A slightly shorter hose would have less bends and be better for airflow.

Is it not possible to move the fan over to the driver side of the housing?
