Yellow Fogs - Whats the best way of doing this?

   About a year ago now I had a cheap run around and was looking for Yellow fog lights to get a certain look, Im now after the samething to give my S that REAL French look with Yellow Fogs.
   
   Whats the best way of doing this?
   
   Yellow Blubs?
   
   Tinting the Glass Yellow?
   
   Yellow Film over the Glass?
   
   I looked before for Yellow Bulbs without joy, so any help is great welcomed

   Couldn't you go down the same method as smoking your fogs? only when you prise them apart do the inserts a shade of yellow

   Yer but you wouldnt get a Yellow light, and thats what Im after.
   
   Older French cars and Older Rally cars used to use Yellow lights but Im not sure what the MoT crew would make of them even if I could fine Yellow Bulbs?

   id be tinting the glass yellow mate or even the film, only way to go imo, it will also look yellow when the fogs are off

   Agree thats the look Im after just not sure where to start, do think a Vynal graphics shop would sell Yellow Film? Reckon I need like window tint film but in Yellow

   Ive just knocked this up, I think it looks spot on, this is the kinda look Im going for, but like you said not sure which would be the best finish Tint (spray) or Film

   Im not going for a Yellow themed car, just slightly older French cars used to have either Yellow Headlamps or Yellow Fog lamps like this Renualt 5 Turbo2 from the early 80's

    they look crap on old cars as well, i cant see that anyone will look at them and say ah its like an old french car

    First part I have French Plates spaced to look like real French plates or as close as a UK plate can be spaced to look like a French plate.

    id say the film would be the best bet, if you dont like it then you can easily take the film off

    Haulfrauds have exactly what you want, its in the ripspeed section next to the interior film. Its just like die stuff for tinting bulbs and it comes in yellow. This will stop you from colouring the whole fog light as it dus look daft wen its daylight and they arnt on but it would shine yellow wen switchd on at night which would look the doggs bollocks!

    dont you mean switched on when its foggy and not when its dark because that illegal and blinds people

    If you dismantle the fog light you coulr spray the silver reflective part of the inside (not the bit we normally colourcode) with some yellow tint spray. Might give a nice effect, my mates mini has yellow inserts in its headlights & xenon bulbs, i think it looks really smart!

    Foggys are a practical addition to a car and should in no way become a cosmetic thing.
