Please Help Newbie!!!

   Hi there folks
   
   Got an ill 1998 saxo 1.6 vts.
   
   imtermittently no acceleration, no power, keeps stalling, fuel pump cutting in & out, sometimes it will come on oand off after the ignition is switched off. Problems seem to be alot worse under heavy acceleration. Have changed the fuel filter, air filter & spark plugs, but nothing seems to work.
   
   pleas help me!!!!!!!!

   my vtr lost all power and stalled a lot.ended up beeing my fuel pump nackerd. nt sure if u gt da same problem bt mite help.

   See if the engine lambda sensor is working correctly. This can be one of the causes…

   Is youe engine light on? If so the best bet is to take it to your local dealer, from there computer they can detect the problem,if the lights not on then check the fuel pump and oil. Could be nackered or alot sh*t in it!

   never heard of oil making a motor run wank? Chech maf sensor and fuel pump also check lamba sensor and make sure the thottle body is clean. I recenltley fixed my m8s vtr it was stalling and revs were dieing when u blipped the thottle so i removed the indution pipe from the thottle body and opened the butterfly and cleaned it out with abit of carb cleaner seem 2 sort it out. All i can say is give it ago m8 and good luck? And u don't have 2 take it 2 citreon for diagnostic work although they would be best but try any euro car speacilist and save ya cash
