having had the head gasket changed the engine is now loosing water.I need to put water in every week and the when i shut the engine off the fan keeps running.The temp light also comes on at times.anyone else had the same problem???Any help would be greatfull.

#2either the head is cracked hence your loosing water (and this is the real problem not the HG) or you have an air lock, or head gasket is on wrong way etc.
who did the work and was the head tested before the HG was replaced.
