#2making leather seats?? thats going to be hard to do mate, get a trimmer to do the seats, can get the whole lot done for around 600 including the doorcards
there is a guide for retrimming the doorcards in the premium section, or you can search i did mine to match my gti interior
what guides are you wanting exactly -
#3jus seats and door cards really.
600 isnt a bad price really but my girlfriend is in that line of work so i wud have expert help, jus trying to save for the bodykit really and spend as little as possible -
#4I wouldnt bodykit a 1.1 unless its the VT one mate, some people have done it and there cars don't move
-
#5well i think its just a case of using the existing cloth or the seats mate to make a patter/template cut it all out and stitching it together

as for the doorcards just lay some leather/cloth over it using spray glue, but if the material has holes in it make sure glue is dry before you put the cloth on -
#6i think scott may have done a how to guide or helped someone out
it was ages ago -
#7yeah premium guide it is jay, its for doorcards

i read that to do mine ages ago but instead of using the epoxy resin i used a soldering iron and bits of plastic to get it all back together -
#8lol so only use a vt kit on a 1.1 yeah?
-
#9looks the best for sure, do the intreior give it a go why not you may find it easy dont kow till you try. there is a how to guide for fitting a vt* kit to a 1.1 in the sticky at the top of the styling forum page
