What would you get on a mk2 VTR with a Fourbranch manifold with sports cat in the manifold, and a straight through pipe with an inclosed air filter? Not sure whether its the 90bhp or 98bhp version?? Could you give rough quotes on both. Just got a mate with the mods and i was wondering what he will be getting from it. I think he has put it on rollers and said it is at about 115/120bhp.

#2piece of string. how long is it???
there is also a guide up the tip of this section on what vtr engine you will have -
#3yer i just read im guessing its the 98 version as the cat is in the manifold. As for how long a piece of string is = Twice as long from the middle to the end
.

#4i honestly would say around 107bhp going off what other people have but cant really say
-
#5Ifi it's an MK2 VTR it probably pushes out 98 BHP (without any mods). With a complete exhaust and induction system you could get at least 106 BHP.
-
#6Yep it will give you around 106-108BHP with that 4-1 Manifold with sports cat, plus full exhaust system........sum1 on ere got this done and also had it put on a rolling road pushed out something like 107bhp with 119ft-lb of torque......quite impressive
-
#7Don't mean to hijack but if it was a 4-2-1 manifold without a cat any idea how much bhp would be gained roughly?
-
#8with a miltek manifold encorporating a sports cat, full magnex system and a bmc induction kit my 2001 vtr made 107bhp and 119lb
-
#9gmc/magnex/bmc - got me 109bhp.
Depends on a couple of things..
A) What bhp your car left factory with, they may well say it left with 98bhp but they only checked 1 in every hundred/1000 (cant remember what) to see if there running the same.
B) The quality of the items your putting on.. -
#10i had my mk1 vtr with cams, 4-2-1, magnex full system with decat and K&N panel filter running 115.52 bhp and 104.3lb (low torque but cams were not mapped)
-
#11Thats alot of power but not alot of torque so was the performcance like? i doubt it will be as good as these MK2 ones with 107bhp & 119 ftlb torque will it?
