gear knob for vtr

   anyone know where i can get i new gear knob from because i brought one and it didn't fit because it was to small..

   as viper said there are loads of places to get a gear knob it just depands on style your after. ask the dealer for one for oyur model a they can be different for cars with lift up or push down gear sticks

   check for the pug 106 gti gear knob on ebay i think it looks good

   thanks, i did have a look on ebay but don't aways know if it will fit untill you try so hard.

   i am not jacking your thread but i did exactly the same yesterday. i was gutted. i brought a really nice leather momo one. i pulled the knob off and its black, but i have serched the forum and the all say its white and that is is hard to pull the knob off but mine just twised straight off!?!?
   
   what make gear knob did u buy?

   don't know what make it was. the guy at the shop said the vtr is bigger for some reason coz it would of fix the normal saxo. i'm i bit scared to buy i new one incase it doesn't fix again and can not be returned..

   mine just twisted off aswell and the new one (106gti leather 1) just twisted back on

    Yeah I have 106 GTi gear knob and its a straight fit. Much better than any of the aftermarket gear knobs you can get I think.

    apparently it is a different size???

    Yeah I have a 1.1 but my mate with a VTR has the same gear knob

    can you still fit the gti knob if you have removed the plastic collar on the gear stick?.

    Yeh my car come with a GTi one........they got chrome top yeh?
    
    Did they come as standard then on the latest VTR's cos when i had a 51 plate VTR it had normal one

    I bought mine from them I'd definitely go back to them if I was keeping the peugeot but I'm not. Only thing is they combine postage and still charge you twice etc

    Does anyone know if you can get the plastic sleeve so that it is possible to fit the gti knob?.
