Window Tints!

   I know a fair few people on here dont like them.... but anyway
   
   anyone got a Posi-blue VT* with tints on, any pics will be appreciated and rep'D

   i know it's not posi blue but gives you an idea. There a medium tint all round. smart during the daylight, but very dark at night, can barely see through them.

   look at my progress thread mate, mines limo on the back 3 windows and smoked on the fronts .

   bak is dark smoke and side is spose to be light smoke, but the thing is vt windows are tinted as standard so you are just adding to the standard tint

    recommend dark smoke all round or not.... i would prefer same all round really

    well what i have done there is the very back window dark and all the sides are light you have to bear in mind the front 2 windows will always look lighter as the light is coming in from the front screen. but yer dark all round would look sweet

    cheers man dont know if you plannin one but the sunstrip is same shade as the windows mate.you gettin it done by a pro or gonna try it yoursel?

    With tinting, howcome there is still a faint outline arund the tint?

    its from where the little black dots are around the windows, the tint dont stick that well to these bits, after a few dyas of the tints dryin out u shud squeeze any excess water out of them which wil stick the tint to the window better as wel

    is there any cheaper way to get them done. i realy want them done but 150 quid for back three dont seem worth it imo. and no i dont want to/cant do themself

    look up shades tints in south woodham ferrers, essex. They are about 5 minutes from the wickford junction on old A130...
    
    get all back windows done for £75 and they do a really good job! if you want their number pm me and i'll try and get it off my mate for you

    Getting tints on our silver VTR tomorrow, getting light smoke on the front side windows, dark smoke on the back windows and the sunstripe is going dark smoke, getting the lot for £110 and he does an amazing job

    Probably a daft question lads but the tints you guys have, are they just the films or has the glass actually been tinted?
