Fitted now, pretty easy but its a little awkward to get your arms through to tighten it up. Took it for a drive and found that in gears 2-4-R it wasnt going in properly but when i got back i looked and it was a plastic pipe full of cables(as you can see from the photo on the 106 link previously). http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...5/DSCF0685.jpgJust poped the hood and pulled them out the way now its ok. I would recomend this it is very noticeable the amout it shortens the gear throws by.

Yeah pretty good for the price, not sure what the difference is between the b&m one and this though.

Yeah after looking at the photos of the B&M think its a better shifter but u get what u pay for and im a cheap skate lol! The only problem i can see with this Griffith quickshift is if it slides off as its only held in my a screw but hopefully it will be ok.

i may actually put a longer bolt in mine and drill a hole through the plate and put the nut on the end tbh, was looking at it and seems like it just grubs up onto it

mine is fine and shudnt slide off mate if the bolt is tightend up correctly, makes a canny difference imo

i imagine it does but my old linkage just wint come off, ive nearly drowned it in wd40 (and poisoned myself with it), pulled, levered, wrenched and it wont just "pop" off, im pretty sure im gonna end up snapping the gear rod im pulling so hard!!!

I've got a comp brake quick shift on my car with full metal selector rods. Made the gear change much shorter.
Although 5th feels odd, probably adjusted it to short lol

it finally fitted after my dad got under the car and pulled the linkage off in 2 secinds.
make a hell of a difference to the shift length.
well worth £23.99
