Right people i don't really know the difference between these:

    Griffith QuickShift
    B&M

I am wanting something which will make it easier and smoother to change gears.

Please vote and state why as i really need help in this area.

    THANKS

B and M is smooth as and worth every penny. Firms the change up loads and takes alot less effort to shift.

griffiths. as he a nice chap, and because i have one, and because they cheap
  10. #10
is he on saxp or just that youve spoke to him?
  11. #11
I think what you need to know is whats the main difference ignoring price?
  12. #12
    yeah, whats the difference? lol
  13. #13
the griffiths extends the pivot point in linkage in the engine bay.. reducing gearstick movement.

the b&m moves the pivot point on the gearstick, reducing gearstick movement.

i went round his house to collect my quickshift. lol.

and u may need to get new linkages to rose rods or somat or ul end up fking ur synchros up in ur gear box its all good n well having a quickshift but u also have to modify ur linkages aswell for there set up for the standard gearstick not shorter ones.

if ur driving on country roads all the time then yes get one if u on A roads and motorways then pointless.

B&M is the more expensive of the two for u get the whole lot gearstick etc etc Griffiths all u get is an adaptor u put onto ur linkage thingy (cant remember the name).

personaly id rather get a rallye gear box or a vts gear box conversion.
