#4all standard mate, 2003 only done 30k so its all in good nick. so many to choose but wasn't sure, what exhaust system is best too?? get told so amy different fings but here seems to be the best place to ask.

#5Is ragged a technical term Mikey? Lol!
Any enclosed filter will give better performance at speed e.g it will pick up better on the motorway or wherever.
And an open one will just make noise but theres a few people who think there cars pull harder with an open one.
Go Green Enclosed BTW. -
#6is that the green forced air induction kit???Quote:Is ragged a technical term Mikey? Lol!

#7found a picture of an airfilter (enclosed) on saxp and wondered wjhat one it was, it had vts in the closed scoop and looked like carbon fibre????

#9the only carbon one is the old procomp one. Everything else is carbon effect.Quote:found a picture of an airfilter (enclosed) on saxp and wondered wjhat one it was, it had vts in the closed scoop and looked like carbon fibre????
Personally I'd fit a raceland enclosed with a Green filter as I don't think there is any performance gain to be had by spending a lot more money on the Green enclosed - though it does look and fit together much nicer.
(BMC is carbon though) -
#10knN = poo imo
viper = very floored imo with metal in it.
green/raceland = very good and the more ideal set up -
#11yeah green or raceland, green looks better though
-
#12Raceland and Green is a quality setup for the money!
-
#13I agree Stay away from the Viper and K&NQuote:

I remember in the old PGAC mag they put a viper on a 205 GTI and it lost 2 bhp and torquw from standard
Buy the raceland one
