#2if you want it to fit in a bit more then cut about half an inch off the centre section that goes into the back box
try it first though before you cut it -
#3Do i have to cut the centre section 1st and re-clamp in a different place because it seems to long. And on the despatch note it says , "xrco1 citroen saxo vts/vtr (90hp only) rear box (jan 97-) 3.5r" And mines is a westcoast

#4yeah cut it off the car, you can only push the back box so far as it will hit off the rear shock
-
#5how did u mark where to cut?
-
#6with a black marker pen lol thats what i used
-
#7tbh i used my standard exhaust to measure it but just mark half an inch off then you can trial it just in case as its a lot of money if you cut it short, use a grinder with a metal cutting disc to cut it then use some putty and paste to seal everything up
-
#8yeah, my brother cut mine with a grider and mine was welded up!
-
#9so you have to shorten the new back box?
and take off the old clamp and leave the pipe that met the old back box?? sorry i havnt really looked at the job yet.

#10i didnt cut anything on the back box, i cut the pipe that it connects over (the centre section), like Predator said
