106 bonnet struts on saxo?

    has any 1 ever fitted the bonnet lifiting strut off a 106 or 306 etc to there saxo i fancy doing it to mine but just wondered if any1 had done it before or encountered any probs?

    i dont know anyone whe has done it but i think its pretty easy i think they just bolt on and off

    yeah it can be done ,, my mate did it to his saxo,,, had to weld on small brackets tho

    tut tut luke someone like u should know to search by now, as said it can be done but you have to weld the small ball bracket onto the inside of the engine bay near the wing/strut top. a few people have done it but some of them have said that the wings flex abit and sometimes look like there gona bukle when having them on

    ive heard plenty of people do it, but never ever seen pics...

    Ive heard a few times that like steve said the wings arent strong enough

    to dig up an age old thread..... if anyone hs done it before, mind sticking up pics? Want to see if it looks sex nogh to bother doing XD

    They dont mount to the wings, they mount to the strut tops. You need to drill the 3 spot welds out on the brackets to remove them. Then weld them to your car. A lot of work really.
