idle probs

   Hi, i have a 98 vtr and when i start the car up in the mornings after its been raining or really damp it doesnt idle properly and the car vibrates. if i give it a little throttle for couple of minutes its fine but smokes really badly. i had the coil pack changed and spark plugs on wednesday but still have the same problem. any ideas?
