power and prices

   How much power can be achieved from a vtr with £1500, £2000 and how much with £3000 help mee please, I'm having an heated debate on zsoc with someone who thinks they can get more power from a zs than vtr so I need to know what power can be had at what price please

   From a 98bhp version your looking at a max of 130-140 at a push in my opinion.
   
   Good induction - 200-300
   Cam - 300
   Port and polish - ???
   Good zaust - 300
   Good manifold - 300
   Remap - Up to 500
   
   Thats all you can do without spending wild money on tb's/sc and turbos.
   
   Edit: Saying that, rumour has it the mark 1 (90bhp) version responds better tuning because of the EGR valve or something?.. someone please correct me if im wrong.
   
   It's not all about power.. bhp is pub talk.

   So induction, cam, zaust, fanimold and map = 130bhp for about £100

   I honestlly can't see you making 130bhp unless it's ported and polished. I've never seen a VTR to hit 140bhp without serious engine mods but some say they have.. proof is the issue.

   iv seen a turbo kit for about £3000 but it was only getting to about 145bhp not massive increase for the money tbh
