got magnex back box HELP

HI ALL I HAVE A 1997 VTS AND LAST FRIDAY I GOT MY SELF A MAGNEX BACK BOX AND IT NOT FITTING RIGHT WELL THE BOX ITS SELF IS SOUND A SITS NICE

BUT THE FITTING KIT I GOT WITH IT IS NOT A GOOD FIT
AS YOU WILL KNOW YOU HAVE TO CUT THE CENTER SECTION TO GET IT TO FIT SO I DID THIS AS THE INSTIUCTIONS SAID CUT 30MM AFTER THE BEND

DID THIS NO PROBS BUT WHEN IT CUM TO USEING THE FITTING KIT TO JOIN THE 2 TOGETHER IT FIT FINE ON THE BACK BOX SIDE BUY ON THE CENTER BIT THE KIT PART IS TOO BIG AND THERE IS A 1NCH GAP .
AND THE CLAMP YOU GET WILL NOT CLOSE IT TO SEAL IT

WAS WONDERING IF ENY ONE ELS HAS HAD THIS

did u get a sleeve for the back box or does it go staight on to the centre section as it sounds the sleeve is to big or the bore on the back box

Hi Thanks For The Reply It The Sleeve Thats A Bit Bigger Than My Center Section Been On To Shop Said He Will Sort It Mmm He Had Better Cos It Sound Like A Scooby Lol A Saxascoob

get someone to push on the tailpipe to move it in but not too much as it will hit off the rear shock

then tighten the clamp up, the end of the backbox pipe has slits in they will close onto it

once thats done use some exhaust putty to fully seal it up

ok been on to magnex to day spoke to a very nice and very helpfull man told him my prob ... and gave him diameter of the center section ie 48mm

and he said ill send you the part out at NO COST TO ME will get it tomoz

lets hope it right but there are very helpfull said as my vts is the earler one it as the smaller center section ????
