Riding Too Low

  1. #1
i recently had one of my powersteering hoses split due to the hose rubbing on the steering arm, i was told by the garage that this was due to the car being too low. think its lowered about 80mm on the back 60mm on the front (it was like this when i bought it).
i'm planning on raising the car up but am unsure how high to go,i don't want it looking like a tractor.
Does anyone know or can anyone guess what sort of height i can go to safely?

    Cheers

When you lower the car a significant amount you have to relocate the powerstering hose as it rubs on full lock. If you relocate this then you can go as low as you want although your ride will be worse the lower you go.

You can just move the hose out of the way and jobs a good un..

If you like the way it looks now just cable tie the hose up out the way of the arm..Loads of people on here have had the same problem and just moved the hose..
