Cat fitting quote

    hello people,
i found out what the rattle was on my car, turns out its inside the cat so i think its pretty buggered up in there anyway, local garage quoted me about £100 including fitting. And i can get a cat for about £60 so there charging ruffly £40 labour.

I am thinking of fitting it my self, to save me £40 (tight git i know lol) , just a straight forward swap as far as i know? with some exhaust putty (not sure what its called) and obviously tightening up the bolts lol
    Ive got axle stands etc.

    cheers

    Martin.

Yeh i was thinking of decating, but whatever happens ill need the cat for the MOT, so when i come to getting a new manifold and new backbox ill probably get a decat then. (then switch it back when MOT is due.)
well off to the scrappy tomorow wonder what other goodies ill find there

    Martin.
