What exhaust system would anyone recommend for a VTR?

I would recommend the magnex system like most others on the site would. After seeingand hearing Tim_w's magnex on his vtr i know why so many people choose this exhaust system.

But i suppose its all down to personal taste and the look you are going for.

if you are after somthing that looks good like quads?? or somit.... go for a poweflow maybe.... but yeah for performance and all the magnex it the dogs lol

Like I stated in my Big exhaust thread most of the leading brands will perform about the same really with noise and looks the only big thing that will change.

Magnex and Janspeed being at the quietier end of the scale and Piper, Mongoose, Scorpion being louder.

You can also change the way the exhaust perform by going for a single box setup which basically meens striaght through centre section and just a back box. This setup tends to lend itself toward moving the power futher up the rev range which is fine if you like to rev your engine alot, a twin box setup ie centre box and back box tends to keep power lower down in the rev range .

There wont be a MASSIVE difference between the two layouts but there will be one.

Personally I always say - Chooce a Exhaust because you like the way it looks, that way if there is a performance increase its a bonus.

iv got a supersprint straight through de-cat pipe and a piper 4" slash cut backbox,sounds really loud and raspy,im more than happy with it

if your goin for performance then a magnex ent going to be up there. omp group n for performance. magnex just sounds good but personly im not a fan

I got a custom exhaust made by infinity in bristol. Realy good and would reccomend it to any one!
If not i would say get Magnex.

Magnex are very high quality systems, look good too if you can get over the fact the pipes welded to an oil barrel

when do you ever look at a car on your knees
