Wierd Car?

   When im driving and the car is above 4000rpm, when i release the throttle the revs stay there for a couple of seconds and then start coming down very very slowly
   
   This has got me quite worried as it has only started happening the last couple of days?
   
   Any ideas please guys and gals??

   throttle cable on its way out...?
   Jus sounds like a sticky throttle

   try cleaning the throttle and check the sensor's cables of the throttle body.
