smoking headlights..

   started smoking my vtr headlights today and was just wandering before i put everything back together tomorrow if the lights will need re-focussing or something?
   a mate told me about it.
   anyone know anything about it?

   make sure there well sealed tho mate so no water gets in like it has done on my back 1s

   am sure they will be fine mate. if i mind right they have a screw adjustment on them and you won`t have touched it to take them apart.

   yea i might run a thin bead a clear silicone round the edge to make it water tight anyway mate.
   right bitch to get the bottom screw off though.
   probably the longest part of the job lol.
   did u smoke your rear lights then? or just the clear part?

   yeah i found that the bottom screw was really hard to undo

   i had to have mine adjusted. i think the unit didnt go in as straight as it came out. it was only a fiver to have adjusted at mot garage.

    same, I needed to adjust mine too, the garage only charged me two quid though

    I put insulation tape round mine... Seems to do the job!

    i had a mate do mine 4 me when i was in spain 6 week ago come back and there was half full with water not too bothered as i want some morrets
