problem with my saxo

   when ever i switch my car off there is a funny noise coming from around the power steering pump area like a whining sort of noise if i unscrew the battery it goes and as soon as plug battery back on it happens again sounds like a motor still goin any help?

   check the relay in the power steering pump, its under the pump, check all other fuses aswell but i can be nearly 99% sure it would be the one on the pump, give it a wiggle or just replace it and it should be fine mate.
