Mk 1 morette front lights

   Been offered a set of morette front lights for my car for a good price, only thing is there is no grille with them, was just wandering if i could just cut the bottom bits off the standard one or is it not that simple?

   Dont think its that simple tbh , they look like theres more of a curve on the lights than standard

   It can be done but its not ideal.
   
   The top fittings are the same e.g where the bolts/screws secure through the slam panel etc, but on the bottom of the morettes theres a clip that goes over a 'ball' on the bottom corners of the morette headlights to hold it into place.
   
   these clips obviously wont be present on a standard grille and it may flap slightly in the wind or driving at high speeds.
   
   possibly use the standard as a temporary measure and order a replacement morette grille direct from Morette'
