Ebay Cam? & whats a remap?

   Basically, I want more power out of my vtr, and someone said to me to get a fast road cam set up. Ive seen this on ebay and were wondering if they are any good?

   And also, I have read threads where people say that "you will need a remap", what the hell is a remap and what does it do?

   pt 40s seem respectable cam set ups.
   
   A remap is the ecu being tweequed or MAPPED to suit the new cam shaft, the ecu controlls fueling etc.. so if you dont have it mapped you could have fueling off for the cam etc.... and it wont run right so will not get max power or fuck the engine.

   Oh right, lol. So unless I have the money to get it remapped it aint worth getting one at the moment then?! Is 11bhp a realistic increase?

   to a standard engine with no map, no chance mate
   
   youll need all breathing mods before hand plus vernier pulley for cam.
