Green and Raceland Airfilter

  1. #1
On www.kam-racing.com it has 2 airfilters. Green enclosed which is £197.00 for the VTR and £86 for the Raceland enclosed manifold with green filter. What is the difference in performance between these 2 for the mk1 VTR..|

i know the green enclosed looks 10 times better, but i can't see the performance being any different...!

Raceland is just a cheaper alternative, just get that. But I would get a green filter to replace the one that comes with the raceland as its not as big

if you look there is a raceland coming out without VTS on it and supposed to fit a lot better, get on the pre order list

i have the green enclosed and it cost me 210, if i was to do it again id have the raceland with green filter for sure, much cheaper and probablies the same performance from them

that manifold firs all VTRs mate, just on the 98bhp engine the oil fileter needs relocating

mk2s were 90bhp too, the early models anyway, usually can tell if the cat is under the car then its a 90bhp model, if the cat is in manifold then its a 98bhp

other signs are the ecu, single plug is 90 and 3 plug is 98, and also the rocker covers, clack is 90 silver is 98, but sometimes people change them as they will fit on either engine if you catch my drift

if it were my money I'd buy the Raceland + Green filter..

Perhaps if I was trying to build a S1600 replica I'd use the green induction for authenticity..

I got the Raceland with Green filter on my VTS and it's deffo an improvement over the old BMC I had. Also sounds mint!
