I have recently brought a saxo 1.0i mischif that is currently standard and i am looking for some alloys. I have heard from another saxo owner that his alloys had damaged his steering rack. If anyone can give me some advise on this it would be a great help to me. Thanks

#2Well he must have driven into something.
Do not worry about it, i had 17" alloys on my 1.1 with no problems for a year, i know people with 19" on there 1.1 saxos with no problems.
Dont worry about it, just find some you like and go for it

#4What design and make have you got in mind at the moment?
-
#5im not sure at the minute but am looking for something that isnt too expensive. any ideas?
-
#6Do you have the 3stud wheels or 4 stud chap?
-
#73 stud isnt it , on the 1 litre??? am i right there
-
#8I believe it depends on the year made, as later models all came with 4 stud hubs. The ealier 1.0i and 1.1i all had the 3 stud, then they started mixing and matching around the 99' model, then 2000 onwards all 4 stud...
Or around that. -
#9i hav a 1.1 an its 3 3 stud, could only find 15" for them wothout them being too expensive
-
#10there are some choice available with the 3 stud, but if u want a bigger range to choose from , go for a for stub hub conversion and then the world is you oyster, as the saying goes....
-
#11There are around 5 different 3 stud 15" designs available and a couple of 16" mostly multispoke or 5 spoke.
Drop us an email if you want more information or prices -

#13Would it be possible to fit 6 stud alloys to my 3 stud? Or is that just a really stupid question?

I wouldnt say 6 stud was possible though.
