my saxo seems to eat petrol and drag compared to other 1.1i's ive seen. was wondering if i would lose much weight and possibly get a bit more mpg if i took doorcards, rear seats, spare wheel etc... out?

#2how many miles do you get to 30 quid?
-
#3i would try to fix the problem (if there is one) rather than 'mask it', so to speak, by reducing weight etc.
-
#4usually get 90 to a tenner so should of been about 270 but got 205 and orange light came on so somethings hammering it and i dont drive like a maniac either rarely go over speed limits
-

#6either BP or sainsburys. not a clue on service but ive did 10k miles and it hasnt had one in that time and never knew there was fuel cleaner. not too clued up on stuff like that
-
#7is it modified? i.e. induction kit
i recommend giving it a service mate! and use something liek redex or slick 50 to clean the fuel pipes and injectors. might help a bit -
#8stay off sainsburys... try Shell.

#10yer lik said earlier, stay away from the likes of supermarket petrol, the difference between grade 1,2 petrol is alot, stay with petrol specialists, shell, bp, total etc
