just ordered new G-max lowering springs 40mm

    yeah 40mm lowering springs for my mk2 vtr cant wait to fit them!!!!

    so will i need to move ne thing? hoses? power steering pump? or will 40mm be ok? just need some advise and such before i do lower it, or am i pretty safe with dropping it!

    If it's standard wheels or 15"s you wont need to move anything and shouldnt have any rubbing.

    yeah at the mo just got vtr wheels on the car, but intend to get some street octanes



    so get them 15s tho

    Is it just the springs you have bought? How much did they cost m8?

    ill take it to my mates house and do it all on his drive way, its where i do all my car work, the last car we took the engine out and changed the whole gearbox and put it back together he knows his stuff so just gonan slid him some cash to do it

    cancel them quick and get some decent 1's you'll regret it believe me i had a full gmax kit and it was shite really, b ok if your only after looks tho

    40mm shouldnt cause any rubbing issues or anything either

    yeah its most for show i dont really need it for proformance justy to make the car lower, if i really have issues with them within the 1st month ill put them on ebay and get some other ones or sell them to some local chav!

    but watch this space i guess!

    and what ya mean by bad? they not gonan snap are they or anything major?

    i had a kit on my old saxo looks good but as everyone sez not good performance wise
