help newman cam

   just fitted a newman cam into my vtr! all the valve clearences are fine but im gettin valve slap! apparently i need uprated valve springs is this true? and also never buy a newman cam from cituning as they did not advise this was necessary when i bought it or told me the new valve clearance until i phoned and asked!! help please

   The same as yours. I think you engine should be 1.6 16v. and maybe Cituning told you the cams can be fitted as standard conditions?
