    how much will a full respray cost on average????

    1-2 grand for a decent job, maybe more if you start using flip paints or colours what need lots of layers and primers.

    fucking hell didn't expect that much it probably would be cheaper to buy a new car!!!!!

    if you want it done.... strip it all yourself... will cut a bit of cost due to less labour

    i dont know what they'd want stripped tho

    Thing with a full re-spray you need to take into account allot of things,

    All panels/windows need to come out,
    All interior needs to come out to do the inside of the car,
    The engine will need to come out if you want the engine bay doing propelly,
    Depending on what colour you go for lots of primer is going to need to be used (yours being black not many colours will go over it easy),
    Then there is the normal paint,
    If you want a decent job lots of laquer is going to be added and wet sanded back to a perfect finish.
    Then there is refitting of all the panels engine etc..

    Re-sprays take a long time to do, if your going to do it propelly.

    You can save your self a massive amount by taking off all the panels and having them in primer yourself. Even then you need to be confident enough to do that..

    well there is a spray shop at work but they only do aircraft panels i could see if i could sneak a panel in every day for a couple of weeks!!!!
