Door pillar vinyl - opinions wanted

   The plasticy / vinyl sticky strips on my Saxo doors are creasing and starting to peel off. (I hope people understand which bits I mean) They are the stick-on strips which run vertically up the doors.
   
   What do people think of taking them off and leaving just the painted surface?
   
   Otherwise, what can I use to replaced these strips?

   defo take them off buddy just be careful removing them take your time. itwill leave some glue resin on the door but little elbow grease and some removing agents should help....

   Ok, I'll do that. Will deffo look tidier.
   Should I leave them off, though, or will the car look daft? Should I get some sort of replacement strip?

   Bug & Tar Remover should break down any glue left behind easily.
   
   Being a silver car, i'd think about getting some new vinyl. But some like it without. Take them off and see what you think of it with the paint showing.

   i helped my mate take hers off and imo it looked much better but peel them off carefully incase thay take the paint off too

   Saxos don't look right with the strip removed. It breaks up the window lines.
   
   If yours are knackered just replace them

    can you buy in single strips, only one of mine is peeling.
