vtr engine in 1.0 saxo

   looking to do engine swap, got quote of 150 to fit engine in, mine is getting knackered, i got a 1.0i engine 1999, what engine will fit straight in? likely to go for a new 2001/2 vtr engine.
   
   any help appreciated

   I wouldn't even bother TBH, too much hassle
   
   I would buy a decent MK1 VTR for 800 - 1000

   dude i would go for what mieran said unless u want to keep the car and do it up but thats upto u and ur budget

   you couldnt fit an 01/01 engine either, unless you wanted to do a lot of rewiring as them engines use the 3 plug ecu and yorus will be a single plug.
