Turbo Sounding!

    I was reading the latest Fast Car mag and in one of the shops advertised in there they were selling a turbo sound similator.

    do these sound anygood?

    anybody have one or tried one?

    any info please!

    they don't really sound turbo-E if you know what i mean, they sound over the top, to make it obvious that there's a change of sound, wouldn't bother bro

    i had one a saber electronic dump valve well it did the sound but it sounded crap mate and note they only work on manual cars

    Depends on your taste for sound, best filter iv heard was a cheap one i got a lend of from a mate, was too loud for me though, i used the std airbox & a panel filter

    Performance you want some kind of enclosed filter though with a direct airfeed to the front of the car, i.e. the raceland kit, BMC, Viper, or standard box with panel filter, thers s ticky about them in this section with looooads of info if your interested

    i can imagine someone with one of them at santa pod thinking hes cars quick, takes a run at the pod and hes thrashed by everything he races and the crowd will be thinking wtf?

    then some member of the crowd would probally ask you is there actually a turbo in there as your cars slow...

    now i don't think you'd be feeling to good with 1


    imo avoid and save for the real thing or somthing worth while!
