Which angel eye headlights?

I got a mk2 vts in topaz gold and want to get angel eye headlights, but im not sure which one to get, chrome or black? Been thinking of black cus i may get the car sprayed in white, but that'll be along time yet. So could get chrome for the mean time, anyone who has pics of a gold mk2 with either headlights.

tbh i dont like angel eyes, but if i had to get some it would be smoked

id honestly go for mk2 smoked standards, look really good on gold saxo's along with the fogs done

Pred that looks sweet! The only reason I ask mate is that I have white alloys and lexus lights, But I dunno if I should smoke the front headlights or just leave the chrome effect on them, as I am gonig to tint the windows i was thinking on making the entire car light rather than a mix. Would that look ok?

    Cheers

smoke them like preds, they look sweet no matter what colour rims you got

How did you smoke them pred? I am getting the black strips around the bumpers colour coded next week so will this still look nice?

    Cheers

there is a guide here somewhere for the lights - maybe for premium members tho. i think they will look nice with colour coded bumpers, will look wicked if you smoke the fogs too

Yeh sounds good, is it hard to do? I may take off the lexus lights and put the standard rear lights back on, what do you reckon Mall?

They look great but are made of cheap plastic and fall apart, so are pointless lol

So Ben are you recommending that I just smoke the headlights? i can get my hands on my mates old smoked rear lights so thats not a problem. Its just sorting this out.

    Cheers

Its upto you mate, personally i wouldnt touch the angel eyes yet because ive heard loads of people have had problems with the build quality and for 120 quid upwards thats not on imo

The smoked headlights are common as fook on here, but saxos off the site dont normally have em so i still think theyre cool

Yeh thats whats worrying me, the prices is pretty steep! I imagine that it wouldn't be nearly as expensive to smoke originals, would it look nice if i sprayed the insides the same coluor as the car or not?

    Cheers

Bout 15 quid to smoke em. Take your time and theyll look awesome. It might look good hard to say really, smoked lights do look awesome on your colour saxo though

^^ That looks wiked, i'd go for something like that.

Theryre only common if you sitting with a bunch of modded Saxos.. For just general driving you wont see many like that.
