black mk2 head lights

    hey lads and few gills, im guna buy some them popular front lights ive seen most of you got, but b4 i buy em i just wanid to know are some clear with black inside and some have smoked glass. because if thats the case i duno witch to buy pics and discriptions would be great thanxs peeps

    they are standard lights that have been opened and the inside sprayed. its pretty east to do yourelf and cheap aswell but you can buy them from places like pug/cit performance for like £170.

    they are really easy to do done mine the other day cos me 4 quid in total to do it tin of primer and a tin of black all you need

    Easy to do and very cheap but I found the glue so messy and so hard to fit the glass back on correct. Because of the amount of glue thats still in the runner when the glass sits back. When I put them on the car the light sits out alittle bit more than It used to.

    Tbh if your not good with your hands because you will need a careful hand i suggest buying them.

    just make sure you take all of the old glue out before putting them back together. its was an absolute piece of cake to do really. the hardest bit was getting the light off the car

    Im a stupid toss, ok is there any good ways of geting the glue completely off then?

    just heat them up and scrape it off mate

    jus a quick question my saxo is blue so instead of opening them and spraying them black does anyone think it would look good colour coded to the car ? opinions please

    Cheers bud, I only have a pic in the dark, so i will take a pic tomorrow and post it up in there. Never even knew that there was a photoshop section.
