iridium plugs

   Has any body fitted iridium spark plugs in their VTS? Im going to do it either way but just wondering what sort of a difference they make, if they make any at all?
   
   Had them in my VTR but couldn't see much difference really.

   I have used 2 sets of Denso Iridium Power plugs. I don't think you'll see any difference.

   As said it will do nothing. Just the same as any average new plug.

   I think that's too much of a generalization to be fair. I'm not really too sure what the advantage is...

   I'm sure I read/heard somewhere that they are designed for higher revving Japanese engines...
   Done some digging. Think it's mainly a life-span thing (~60k miles) and they give a more efficient burn - if that gives more power etc is unclear.

   cheers, ive read about the life span thing, apparently from what ive also read they are meant to provide smoother power delivery and give better throttle response.
   
   ive had them in my old VTR but think they must work better on higher powered cars.

   there shite..... i had a motocrosser with 1... the thin electrode broke and fucked the barrel... wudnt touch em wiv 10ft barge pole.....
   
   bosch super 4's are one of the best u can get.....
   
   denso's are shit aswell... the often cause your car to mis/hunt

    buy the cheapest standard plug for your car, check them regularly and change them when needed to keep your car running at its best. Fancy plugs are really not needed for near standard cars...
