Shouldnt make and difference if its under the car or on the manifold. Two different parts but both are pretty easy to source. Mines on the manifold and cost £87 from Partco/Unipart (Citroen wanted £400). Call Citroen and give them your car details. They can tell you what the Cat looks like and where it is supposed to be (DO NOT BUY one from them though). Then get one from somewhere else.

There is a place on the net called cats4less google them cause they are the cheapest I could find and they dont ask for your old cat in return. The old one will be worth something so ask for it back when you get your new one fitted.
