As above basically.. And yes it's the torsion bar. I've been reading every guide on how these are lowered, and i still can't come to terms with the "Suspension Arm" I've no idea what that is, and if somebody could show me on this pic then it would be great. I don't want it falling on me head when i do it

    Thnx

Is it really a good idea to try and attempt to lower your car if you dont know which parts are which?

Id leave it to the pro's if i were you, just a thought.

if you look at the car underneath there is a yellow main beam and the 2 red torsion bars.

at both ends of the yellow beam you will see 2 black bearings everything from there down to the wheel hubs is the suspension arm

Iv got to agree with the rest of the guys, im not all that knowledgeable when it comes to cars, as its PC's and databases I deal with on a daily basis. But I do carry most the work out on my car myself. I attempted to fit my manifold, as I knew I could always bail out if it went wrong...and guess what happened, the manifold didn't fit right so I had to put the old one back on. Now im taking it to be modified at a garage.

BUT back on topic, if I fooked up fitting it I could have sorted it, this is the suspension you fiddling with here. To be honest when things go wrong in that area, it can be very costly, especailly if your an amateur. By all means do it at your peril, but I personally would get a garage or someone who has done it the correct way before. Quiet frankly the fact that you don't know what the suspension arm is (not that I really do) and your attempting to fiddle scares me
